Absolutely! New-i is all about using what you have as the foundation for a new look. You can begin the process with a New-i Coaching Consultation or a New-i 55 Plus Consultation to rearrange your furniture and redistribute your artwork, which will breathe new life into your room! You will be excited with the changes.
Can I get a professional opinion - a new eye - to help me create the look and feel I want for my home?
You certainly can! And, you can start a conversation with a New-i Design Consultation to help you form a plan forward. We help you with advice for wall colour, fabric, flooring window coverings and anything else that is needed to give your home a face lift. Add a New-i Finishing Service to complete this process for you!
I am downsizing and I want to create a new look that is a reflection of my life, travels and experiences. Can New-i help?
Yes, we can! In a New-i Design Consultation we will discuss anything that is important to you regarding your new home. We can talk about how to incorporate the furniture you love into your new home, a colour scheme, fabric direction, lighting and window coverings. If you choose, complete the design process with a New-i Finishing Service. New-i can help take the anxiety out of your move and make it a creative and fun experience for you.
Can I just get a little bit of advice and then make the changes myself?
New-i Design Services are great for the design enthusiast who wants advice from an experienced interior designer without committing to a full service contract. You’ll get confirmation that your ideas will give you the look you want. We help take the anxiety out of the design process. We save you from making costly mistakes. Any of our New-i Design Services will give you the feedback, clarity and confidence to complete the changes on your own!
I want a plan that I can follow at my own pace as my budget allows? Is this possible with New-i?
This is what we do! We listen to your ideas and your vision and our trained professionals help you create your plan. We will suggest wall colour, finishes, furniture, accessory and lighting. This will keep the plan workable and current, even if you want to take months or years to complete the changes to your home. Choose a New-i Design Service to help you plan forward.
I have lots of my own ideas but want confirmation that I am on the right path? Can New-i help me?
Yes, we will listen to your ideas, talk with you about colour, scale and proportion, and help you decide what will work well in your home, and what won’t, before you commit to a purchase.
Why do I need to work with New-I when I can watch design shows and use their ideas in my home?
Today, there are many design shows and magazines that are educating people about interior design. That is great… and sometimes there are pitfalls. I find that my clients often fall in love with a look and try to replicate this in their own rooms. They purchase furniture and are dismayed when it doesn’t look right. Then, they call me for help to fix their mistakes! New- i can help you by offering an educated opinion before you commit to any purchases, and help you to adapt your ideas to fit your space.
Can I arrange for New-i to do more in depth design work for me?
New Interiors using what you have offers comprehensive full service interior design for one room or more. Start the process with a New-i Design Service. Then, if you would like to expand your plan with additional detailed, hands-on interior design work, the seamless collaboration of any of our New-i Design Services and New Interiors using what you have allows us to easily do so.
Which time frame should I choose?
The more time we have, the more rooms we can cover for you.
Can I extend the New-i Design Service while you are at my home?
Yes. We will be happy to extend our time at your home, for an additional hour or two.
What will I have after a New-i Design Service?
Each New-i Design Service includes a summary of our discussion. This includes paint colour samples and an introduction to sources and resources.
Is there a travel fee to areas outside of Vancouver?
There is no travel fee for Vancouver, Richmond and parts of Burnaby. There is an additional small fee for travel beyond these areas. Please call 604 326-0001 to inquire.
Can I buy a New-i Gift Certificate?
Absolutely. A New-i Gift Certificate is great for any occasion including housewarmings, new baby gifts, weddings, birthdays, Mother’s Day gifts and more.
Does New-i supply window blinds and shades?
New-i supplies blinds and shades for your windows. These are made locally for a smaller footprint on the environment. Another good thing is that they are priced right, because they don’t have to be shipped into Vancouver. As well, they carry a lifetime guarantee!

Is there tax payable on your services?
Yes, but it’s GST only.
What is your payment structure?
Each New-i Design Service is payable at the end of the time frame selected.
New-i Full Service Interior Design requires a 50% deposit at the end of the initial consultation.
